THIS BOLT DOES NOT FIT THE TIPPMANN 98 DIRECTLY SHAVE THE OUTSIDE SINCE ITS PLASTIC TO MAKE IT FIT BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT DOES ITS JOBS JUST ASK MY FIRNEDS AND THERE BRUSIES

I used this and now my 98 Custom does not fire below 374 feet per second. I love this. The marker is super accurate now and I think it fires better than when I had the flatline. I had to take the flatline off though since this bolt would make the rounds break in the barrel 95% of the time. Its a minor issue since the bolt is so usefull.

But im looking for a star fire bolt with an o-ring on the inside too. So for it's been one or the other. The search continues.

Tried on my A-5, it sucked, shot slower and with no improved accuracy, didn't waste the time to put it on my son's custom 98.
maybe it was just a dud, I would not buy it again.

this product sounds good in theory. . .didnt chop a single ball, BUT does not allow full use of the c02 you have the velocity set to. . it releases alot of co2 in the back of the gun. .
